Visagraph Reading Eye Monitor

Visagraph Page GirlThe Visagraph and Readalyzer are two clinical tools we use as part of our Visual Efficiency Exams.  These help us precisely measure each individual eye movement using infrared technology.

A child first reads through a grade-level appropriate paragraph.  Then he/she answers 10 “yes or no” questions to ensure valid testing.  Finally, after the paragraph is read each system will analyze the child’s eye movements for tracking errors, regressions, processing speed, and overall reading efficiency compared to normal values for each grade level.

Dr. Grisham or Dr. Shumaker will then show the parents and child a “bouncing-ball” simulation of the child’s eye movements while reading the paragraph.
