Controlling Myopia
Soft Multifocal Contacts
Multifocal contact lenses are regularly used to help manage the development of myopia. When your eye elongates, the light that enters through your cornea can focus in front of your retina, causing your eyes to elongate further as a response.
Multifocals focus light at various distances to help it land on your retina and slow how fast your myopia develops.
Orthokeratology
Orthokeratology (Ortho-K) contact lenses are a fantastic way to control your myopia while also achieving clearer vision without the use of glasses or contact lenses.
Ortho-K lenses are worn at night and temporarily reshape your cornea as your sleep. Remove them when you wake up and enjoy clear vision throughout the day. However, if you stop wearing these contacts at night, your cornea will revert to its original shape and your myopia will return.
